The 22 Major Arcana

Twenty-two of the seventy-eight cards are the Major Arcana, and they mark the turns rather than the days. They run in order, from the Fool at zero to the World at twenty-one — one journey, told in stages. A reading takes each card upright or reversed.

Spreads

How many cards, and where they sit, changes the kind of answer you get.

Three cards · past, present, future

The most used layout there is. It reads the situation as a movement — where it came from and where it is heading — rather than as a verdict. Free once a day.

Ten cards · the Celtic Cross

For a question you have been carrying a while. Ten positions, read in pairs: the present and what crosses it, the root and what has passed, how others see it against what you actually feel, and where it lands.

Common questions

How does a reading work?
Write the situation as one sentence, shuffle and cut the deck yourself, then draw. The cards, their orientation and the question are read together and answered in plain sentences.
Does a reversed card mean bad news?
No. It usually means the same force turned inward, not yet ripe, or overdone. It is a question of direction and degree rather than good and bad.
Is it free?
With an account, one three-card reading a day is free. The ten-card Celtic Cross costs three credits.
How are the cards drawn?
With cryptographic randomness. Nothing is steered towards a particular card, and the same question drawn twice will not give the same spread.
